Interesting Facts and Oddities in LoK Pigskin Taking the corpse of a wild boar to a tanner would yield a football! This was quite a strange, and unique thing. In fact, players even devised rules for in-game football and played a couple games in various locations. - Magnos
Perhaps one of the worst bugs ever to be found in the game, this one was abused for approximately 2-3 days before the players were banned and the game was brought down for an immediate fix. This bug allowed players to access one of the GameMaster areas. This special area contained rare items and a xerox hex which allowed items to be copied infinite times. - Magnos - An account by SneekieSnickers
The Hells and the Palace were GameMaster only areas. The palace was located in Kesmai on the surface level surrounded by rocks and water (and a few permanent whirlwinds on the walls), and the Hells were in each land and usually appeared as a conglomerate of dark hexes. The Hells in each land acted as a pigpen for the demons when they weren't being summoned. They also had a Xerox hex that would make copies of items that were dropped on them. (There was lawful centaur in the Palace. There was a lawful shark in a GM only area in the Underkingdom. The purpose of these creatures is unknown....)
The working name for Legends of Kesmai during Alpha testing was Realms of Kesmai.
The facets (implementations) of the game were named after gems. On Gamestorm there were 6, respectively known as Agate, Beryl, Coral, Diamond, Emerald, and Garnet. Early on there was also an Amethyst facet (during Beta testing I believe).
The casting chant you can hear for male and female, are reversed messages. Because the sounds have been gated it's very hard to hear what they're saying, but it's something like this: (There are more sounds out there where actual decipherable words can be heard by playing them in reverse.)
