Sword of Light Quest

The SoL Quest first requires you to collect 4 gems. They are the Panther, Whale, Dragon and Sparrow gems and can be found randomly on Annwn -2. You must also get 2 keys from an NPC on -3 that yells "Eat Dirt Dogface!". Each of the gems activates a portal on Annwn -3.

The first step is to use the swallow gem, go through the portal and kill the phoenix. After the phoenix is slain, give the sparrow gem to Ulluvial to get a gem that looks "like a fossilized shell of an ancient gastropod". From Ulluvial, jump north and talk to Rhiannon.

Rhiannon requires one of the keys and gives you a gem that resembles a tiny quartz sword. Head back to -3 and use the panther gem on the portal in the southeast corner. Behind it you will find Arwen, who asks for the gastropod gem and gives you a broken haft of a greatsword in return.

Go back to Annwn -3 and use the whale gem in the southwest corner portal. There is a teleport in the 3x3 room behind portal that will take you out near Morrigan's Island. Swim northeast to Morrigan's Island and climb the ladder on the north side. This was a two handed climb, so no Mauls :-P.

At the top of the tower behind a secret door is Morrigan. Give her the tiny quartz sword gem and she will give you a sharp blade. Take the broken haft and the sharp blade to Muramasa in Torii and he will forge the mighty Sword of Light, a weapon required to deal with Ydmos (part of the Knight's HP Quest).
