Alpha/Beta/Gold Art Comparison
Back in the early alpha/beta test days of Legends of Kesmai, some of the critters and items in the game had different art icons representing them. You'll also notice that many of the pieces whose icon didn't completely change are either unpolished or have a different paint coat than their Gold counterparts. The shadows behind the critters are another item of interest the alpha/beta art lack. Ever wondered why the corpse art of some creatures didn't seem to match up with the living body? That's because KesCo didn't bother updating some of the corpse art to go along with their living counterparts.
