Torii Pagoda Quest

Before beginning the quest, you will need a few items. Yttril, a cord, a tsuba, a tiger menuki figurine and a flawless black pearl. Yttril, the material used to forge the black broadsword and greataxe, can be found on Annwn -2. The Cord is found on the Torii Castle Giants. The flawless black pearl (FBP) is found on Willard (the Torii Castle rat) and in the lair of Thisson. It's recommended you get it from Willard :). Tsubas are found on giants in the Torii mines and tiger menuki figurines can be found randomly, and quite rarely, in the Torii mines aswell. < P>

In the Torii Pagoda, talk to Sato on the first floor. Give him the yttril and he will give you the Muramasa Katana (+5 tied). Hold the katana in your hands to ascend to the next level. The next trainer, Shingen, requires the tsuba and gives you the Dragon Claw Gauntlets (+2 tied). Hold the gauntlets in your hands to climb the stairs to the next level. Give the FBP to Ikag who will in turn give you a Steel Threestaff (+4 tied). Once again, hold the threestaff in your hand to advance. On the top floor, exchange the cord for the dragon menuki.

Once you obtain the dragon menuki, return to the surface and head east and across the ocean until you find a small island. Here you must make a choice. If you want the Masamune Katana (+6), take the dragon menuki and tiger menuki figurines to Masamune. If you would like the Menuki Gauntlets (+4 tied), take both figs to Zatokujira.
